Competition Plus+
The forage of champions.
Competition Plus+ is produced with the competing horse in mind. Made from our specialist Italian Ryegrass Leys, this mixture contains high protein and digestible energy without compromising the fibre required to promote gut health.
Stud Plus+
Producing the future.
Also made using Italian Ryegrass, Stud Plus+ is cut slightly later in the year, meaning our high quality Forage contains lower levels of protein and sugars. Young stock can gain condition while remaining calm and easy to manage. Stud Plus+ is also perfect for horses in medium work that don’t need the energy provided in competition plus+.
Maintenance Plus+
Keeping horses healthy.
Maintenance Plus+ combines a mixture of perennial meadow grasses. This mix is perfect to maintain both horses and ponies in or out of work. Ideal for the good-doers, pony club/riding club horses, veterans and natives.

Why Plus?
As well as large bales, our plus range can be broken down, repackaged and palletised in our state of the art processing facility.
Each bale is assessed through a stringent quality control process, before being dust extracted and triple compressed into our sealed packs. This process ensures we can guarantee each bale consistently meets our extremely high standards minimising any risk of unsuitable forage reaching your horse.
As well as making feeding easier on large yards, these smaller packs are perfect if you have one horse on a particular blend, or simply run a smaller yard, meaning you need not worry about waste (the product spoiling through lack of use).
When you buy through Forage Direct a member of our team will discuss your nutritional requirements and take analysis of your current supply before providing a suitable product that meets the needs of your horses. Once you are happy with the product and have received a sample we will calculate your annual intake and hold the necessary supply of in our facilities in Oxfordshire. We can then guarantee you receive a consistent product all year around.
